Restoration Agency: the government has created a procurement organization.

The government approved the decision to create a Centralized Procurement Organization for the State Restoration Agency
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to establish a Centralized Procurement Organization (CPO) for the State Restoration Agency. This resolution envisages the implementation of unified control and accountability standards for the procurement system. This will make the process more transparent and efficient.
'International investors are constantly participating in the recovery processes, including projects of the Restoration Agency. We are trying to collaborate with partners and involve the private sector in important initiatives for Ukraine. We see their willingness to participate. However, we must also provide them with guarantees and show that their investments are being used properly. The creation of the CPO for the Restoration Agency is a step towards increasing the transparency and efficiency of procurements, and therefore, improving the work of the Agency as a whole. This is the first Time that centralized procurements of goods and services for construction will be conducted at the state level. Thank you to the government for this important decision,' said Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Communities and Territorial Development of Ukraine.
The activities of the CPO will be coordinated by the Agency. The procurements that will be included in the activities of the organization will cover project expertise in construction, technical supervision, engineering and consulting services, construction works, and operational maintenance of roads.
The concept of the CPO for the Agency was developed in cooperation with the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI).
