The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, outlined Russia's plans until 2036 during the visit of the U.S. Special Representative, Keith Kellogg, to Kyiv on July 14. In addition, the Kremlin is preparing for armed conflict with NATO countries.

It is reported that a joint briefing of representatives of Ukraine's security and defense sectors was held on July 14 under the chairmanship of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov for the U.S. delegation headed by Keith Kellogg.

Kyrylo Budanov and his deputy Vadym Skibitsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov, as well as representatives of the intelligence community were present at this meeting.

The U.S. delegation was introduced to the current operational situation, the assessment of Russia's plans until 2036, as well as data on the Kremlin’s preparations for war not only against Ukraine but also against NATO countries.

'The Kremlin's imperial ambitions are not limited to Ukraine — they encompass all of Europe. However, with the support of the United States, we can stop Russia and negate its military potential,' emphasized Kyrylo Budanov.

The head of the GUR also expressed gratitude to the U.S. government and people for their persistent political, economic, and military support for Ukraine.

'Russia understands the language of power — it is through this language that we will achieve sustainable peace,' emphasized Budanov.

It is worth noting that on July 14, Volodymyr Zelensky also met with Keith Kellogg. The parties discussed pathways to peace and strengthening Ukraine's air defense.

In his evening video address, the president commented on the meeting with the Special Representative of Trump. The head of state reported that the conversation was productive and focused on security challenges.
