Canadian Shield: another opponent of the Ukrainian national team has announced the squad for the tournament matches.


The head coach of the New Zealand national team, Darren Baisley, has determined the squad of players who will be preparing for the matches of the Canadian Shield tournament in Toronto. A total of 23 players have been called up for the matches against Ivory Coast and Ukraine.

Goalkeepers: Nick Tsanev, Max Crocomb, Alex Paulsen.
Defenders: Tyler Bindon, Michael Boxall, Liberato Cacace, Finn Seaman, Bill Tuiloma, Callan Elliot, Tommy Smith, Francis de Vries.
Midfielders: Joe Bell, Matthew Garbett, Elijah Just, Callum McCowatt, Sarpreet Singh, Marco Stamenic, Nando Paynaker, Alex Rufer.
Forwards: Ben Old, Ben Waine, Chris Wood, Costa Barbarouses.
The Ukrainian national team will also participate in the Canadian Shield, playing against Canada and New Zealand at BMO Field, where the final of the 2026 World Cup will take place. The match against Canada will be held on June 7, and against New Zealand on June 10.

The Ukrainian national team will face Canada and New Zealand at the Canadian Shield, which will take place at BMO Field and will become the venue for the final part of the 2026 World Cup.
