Vegetable prices have noticeably changed: how much do potatoes, cabbage, onions, and carrots cost at the beginning of June.


Ukrainians are starting to feel the changes in prices for some vegetables in supermarkets at the beginning of summer. According to the Minfin portal, these basic vegetables - potatoes, cabbage, onions, and carrots, which are so commonly found on our tables, affect our family budget.
Potato prices
Regular potatoes have increased in price from 34.75 UAH to 37.35 UAH per kilogram at the beginning of June. Young potatoes, on the other hand, have significantly decreased in price - from 89.15 to 62.73 UAH. Pink potatoes have slightly dropped in price, from 41.04 to 38.38 UAH per kilogram.
Cabbage prices
Young cabbage has noticeably decreased in price - from 65.17 UAH in May to 28.67 UAH in June per kilogram due to a larger supply. White cabbage has increased in price from 71.91 to 113.40 UAH per kilogram.
Onion prices
Regular onions have increased in price from 32.94 to 46.20 UAH, while young regular onions have decreased in price from 47.25 to 41.50 UAH. The price of blue onions has decreased from 77.28 to 66.80 UAH per kilogram.
Carrot prices
Regular carrots have increased in price from 54.89 to 62.95 UAH per kilogram, while young carrots have decreased in price from 92.18 to 72.99 UAH.
