Europe is ready to sacrifice Ukraine for its own security, - BND.

The head of the German intelligence service, Bruno Kahl, expressed outrage over possible Russian actions aimed at testing NATO's unity. He stated this in an interview with Deutsche Welle. According to Kahl, Russia intends to test the solidarity of Western countries and the effectiveness of Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty.
'We very much hope that this will not happen... But we must assume that Russia will want to test us, to check the unity of the West,' Kahl emphasized.
The head of the German intelligence noted that this testing would depend on the further development of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He is particularly concerned about the possibility that Russia could threaten European security if the Ukrainian crisis conflict is resolved by 2029-2030.
Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty is the foundation of NATO's collective security system and states that an armed attack against one or more member countries of the Alliance will be considered an attack against all participants.
Earlier, Bruno Kahl revealed Vladimir Putin's true intentions regarding the world order.
