This was reported by The Sun.
The municipality of Portofino, located in Liguria, has prohibited tourists from walking the streets barefoot, in swimsuits, or topless starting July 15. These rules also apply to the main square of the city — piazza.
Furthermore, it will be forbidden to drink alcohol in the streets. However, it can be consumed in restaurants, bars, or in designated areas.
Travelers will also be prohibited from lying outside of beaches and recreation areas. Additionally, packed meals in the city will be banned. Violations of the rules will result in fines ranging from 25 to 450 euros.
