The Supervisory Board of "Ukrenergo" Appointed Acting Chairman of the Board.

The Supervisory Board of "Ukrenergo" appointed Oleksiy Brekht as acting chairman of the board. This was reported by the company's press service.
It is noted that Oleksiy Brekht has been working in the company for 23 years and in the energy sector in general for 25 years. Over the past two years, he has been a member of the board of "Ukrenergo" and was responsible for the operation, restoration, and development of the transmission network.
The company remains on course to attract international assistance for the restoration of the high-voltage network after Russian attacks and to strengthen its resilience. Among the company's goals is also deepening integration into the European energy space. This will ensure support in countering energy terrorism.
The company will continue to adhere to corporate governance standards according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and will expect a transparent election of an independent Supervisory Board and the appointment of the chairman of the board of "Ukrenergo".
Previously, Oleksiy Kudrytskyi was dismissed from the position of chairman of "Ukrenergo". It is claimed that the company's supervisory board decision to terminate his powers early is not related to the issue of energy facility security. Kudrytskyi initiated an extraordinary meeting of the supervisory board, convinced that the issues of dismissal and appointment of the head of "Ukrenergo" are the prerogatives of the supervisory board.
