NYT: The USA declassified data on extensive support for Ukrainian drone production.

The Biden administration has revealed information about the support for the Ukrainian military drone industry. According to The New York Times, in September last year, the United States provided Ukraine with investments amounting to 1.5 billion dollars to expand drone production.
"The support had a 'real strategic impact' on the war," said U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
American support included funding for drone manufacturers, purchasing components, and sending intelligence officers to Ukraine.
Last year, the Pentagon allocated 800 million dollars for the production of Ukrainian drones. An additional 1.5 billion dollars was provided during the Ukrainian president's visit to the White House.
According to U.S. officials, these investments improved the effectiveness and lethality of Ukrainian drones. They destroyed a quarter of the Russian Black Sea fleet and slowed down the advance of Russian troops in eastern Ukraine.
Let us recall the historical successes of Ukrainian drones:
A maritime drone of the GUR attacked a Russian Mi-8 helicopter near Cape Tarkhankut in occupied Crimea for the first Time in history.
The agreement between Ukraine and Great Britain envisages strengthening cooperation in the field of arms production, including joint production of drones and transfer of technologies.
