Shocking number of fires in Ukrainian ecosystems
Today, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine released statistics on fires in Ukrainian ecosystems, which shocked by the number. In one day, on March 23, there were 1263 fires. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referencing the SES.
According to the report, dry vegetation continues to be burned despite bans, fines, and calls from rescuers. Today, the fire destroyed 966 hectares of Ukrainian nature.

In Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions there were also cases of fires. In Vinnytsia region, 96 fires were extinguished over an area of more than 78 hectares. In Lviv region, there were 145 fires covering more than 28 hectares. Rescuers saved 14 buildings and a vehicle. In Ivano-Frankivsk region, 92 fires were extinguished covering an area of about 6 hectares, and in Cherkasy region there were 57 fires, the largest of which occurred in the Cherkasy district. In the village of Moshny, a 71-year-old man suffered burns of a mild degree. In total, there were 43 fires in Khmelnytskyi, covering an area of more than 133 thousand square meters. In Kyiv region, the fire destroyed buildings and covered 60 hectares.
