Law enforcement officers detained a serviceman who passed intelligence data to the Russian special services.

A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suspected of treason was exposed

Law enforcement agencies have found a serviceman of one of the mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who is suspected of treason. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the Military Prosecutor's Office in the Central region.

According to the investigation, the serviceman was recruited by Russian special services about a year ago while serving in the city of Odessa. He was given the task of collecting and transmitting intelligence data.

At least three facts of transmitting information about the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units, the locations of individual weapons and equipment, as well as photo reports on the consequences of fire damage from the Russian armed forces to a representative of the Russian intelligence have been confirmed. The transmission of this information was accompanied by the receipt of funds by the suspect to a crypto wallet,' the report says.

A mobile phone with correspondence with a representative from Russia was found and seized from the serviceman.

Recall that the Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service detained a woman in Odessa who provided the Russians with information about at least 10 objects and prepared coordinates for new missile-drone strikes. She identified targets while walking with her child.

Additionally, the Security Service detained a Russian agent near Odessa. It turned out that he was a resident of unrecognized Transnistria who was trying to acquire secret Ukrainian developments in the field of unmanned systems.
