The President of the Volleyball Federation of Ukraine confirmed Plotnytsky's arrival to the national team.

The President of the Volleyball Federation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Melnyk, confirmed that Oleg Plotnytsky is returning to the national team of Ukraine. This information is reported by 'Glavcom' citing Sport.ua.
Mykhailo Melnyk stated that all the leaders of the Ukrainian volleyball team, including Oleg Plotnytsky, confirmed that they would come to the matches of the national team of Ukraine in the Nations League.
The President also reported on the goals of the men's and women's national teams of Ukraine for the current year.
I don't think we are in such conditions now, where we can demand something. Although we undoubtedly have ambitions in the coaching staff and among the players. These ambitions are supported by the real potential of our teams. The minimum goal for the men's team is to remain in the Nations League. If we get relegated, it will be very difficult for us to get back there, considering that teams will qualify based on the world ranking. Regarding the World Championship, we are not setting ourselves clear goals, but we hope that with good play and results we can uplift Ukrainians during this difficult Time for our country,» Melnyk stated.
In 2025, Ukraine will play in the Nations League and the World Championship.
It should be noted that the Polish volleyball club 'Suwałki' refused to participate in the international tournament NAS Sports Tournament in Dubai (UAE) due to the participation of Russian teams.
The decisive factor that influenced our refusal was the information about the participation of two clubs representing the Russian Federation. After consulting with partners, the Polish Volleyball Association and the Polish Volleyball League, we supported the position that we will not compete against Russian teams,» it is stated on the official website of the club 'Suwałki'.
