Head of Transnistria: Russia will provide gas as humanitarian aid
Head of the unrecognized Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky announced that Russia will soon provide gas as humanitarian aid. Details regarding the fuel supply have not been specified.
Russia will provide Transnistria with sufficient gas for thermal energy, industry, and civil use
During negotiations with the Ministry of Energy of Russia regarding gas supplies to Transnistria, Krasnoselsky stated that Russia guarantees adequate gas supplies to the republic.
Russia will not supply gas to other parts of Moldova, including Transnistria
With the halt of Russian gas transit to Moldova and other EU countries by Ukraine, heating and hot water supply has been stopped in Transnistria.
Moldova has offered Transnistria to purchase natural gas through European platforms, but the republic refused due to high prices.
