Today marks a year since that terrible moment when Russian troops carried out one of the most horrific attacks on Ukraine during the war. On this day, people pay tribute to the memory of those who died during the attack on the 'Okhmatdyt' hospital by Russia. This was reported by journalist Oleksandr Saiun during the broadcast of the Day.LIVE program.
Massive missile strike by Russian forces
A year ago, Russian troops fired over 40 missiles at Ukrainian cities, including hypersonic 'Kinzhal' missiles, ballistic 'Iskander' missiles, and cruise 'Kalibr' missiles. The tragedy claimed the lives of 47 people, 33 of whom died in the capital.
This was a true disaster for the National Children's Specialized Hospital 'Okhmatdyt' and the residential building on Salskiy Street. This tragedy remains a painful symbol for the entire Ukrainian people, changing the lives of many forever.
The anniversary of this tragic event reminds everyone of the brutality of war and the importance of maintaining peace on our land.
