Average Salary in Kyiv — What Amount Can You Expect.

- financial director - 80,000 UAH (+14%);
- realtor — 78,500 UAH (+50%);
- commercial director — 75,000 UAH (+25%);

- marketing director - 70,000 UAH (+8%);
- auto painter — 67,500 UAH (+35%);

In other major cities of Ukraine, the average salary is as follows:
- Dnipro — 24,400 UAH (+22%);

- Kharkiv — 22,500 UAH (+25%).
Is an Increase in Minimum Wage Possible
The government has published the Budget Declaration project for 2026-2028, which proposes to increase the minimum wage by 685 UAH. Novyny.LIVE journalist Nastya Reign accordingly asked the chairman of the Committee of Economists of Ukraine Andriy Novak about this issue.
'To ensure the growth of the minimum wage and not increase taxes, one can only rely on the inflationary effect. That is, due to inflation, there is an increase in revenues from taxes, excise duties, fees, and customs,' — explained Novak.
In other words, an increase in the minimum wage may only lead to a nominal rise, as inflation is likely to offset this growth.

It is worth noting that the salary of police officers consists of various components, including the base salary, bonuses, allowances, and other payments. The minimum salary for law enforcement officers in 2025 is 17,000 UAH.
It should also be noted that the minimum wage is planned to be increased over the coming years, but the actual increase in income may be limited by inflation.
