Volleyball player Maika Maa will move to the Russian club 'Fakel'
The famous volleyball player of Team USA, Maika Maa, will play for the Russian club 'Fakel' next season. His previous teams were 'Halkbank' and the Polish club 'Katowice.'
Maa became a bronze medalist at the World Cup in 2019, and also won silver at the Nations League in 2023 and bronze at the Olympics in Paris in 2024.
It should be noted that Ukrainian defenders eliminated the Russian occupant and titled athlete Timur Masalov.
In another sports aspect, Russian speed skater Ksenia Korzhova expressed support for Russian aggression by liking posts on Instagram. The International Skating Union recognized her as a neutral athlete.
Korzhova received support during the war from gymnast Mykyta Nahornyi, who was sanctioned by several countries for supporting Russian aggression.
