In May, the Russians significantly increased the intensity of their attacks: statistics.


The escalation of the situation in the conflict zone is becoming increasingly noticeable. According to the Ukrainian information resource DeepState, in May, Russian troops attempted to advance 19% more actively than in the previous month. Specifically, the number of attacks increased, with early and late May being particularly active.
If in April, an average of 154.8 attacks per day were recorded, in May this figure rose to 183.6. And if in April the enemy exceeded the threshold of 190 attacks only twice a day, in May there were already 13 such days.
May 4 was especially brutal for Ukrainian positions, when enemy forces carried out 269 attacks.

The conflict has been ongoing for 1195 days. This morning, enemy troops carried out 3 rocket and 50 airstrikes, using 6 rockets and 50 guided bombs, conducted over 4000 shellings and 1396 kamikaze drone strikes.
The most challenging situation has been recorded in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions. However, the invaders suffered losses – in the Pokrovsk direction, 145 occupants were eliminated and 140 were injured, as well as equipment and shelters were destroyed.
The agenda of the conflict in Donbas continues to escalate, and the statistics indicate an increase in the activity of Russian troops. Ukrainian forces are under severe pressure from the enemy but continue to defend their positions, which allows for a strong response to aggression.Read also
