Ukraine rewrote the rules of warfare: WP assessed the consequences of operation 'Spider'.

Ukraine has taken a real dandelion step by changing the rules of warfare and striking at Russian airbases behind the front line. This unexpected blow resulted in the destruction of a third of the Russian bombers used for attacks on Ukraine.
'On the morning of Sunday, December 7, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy changed the rules of warfare. Few imagined that the Japanese could cross an entire ocean to attack the 'impregnable fortress,' as American strategists called Hawaii. Yet, this is exactly what happened. Japanese planes destroyed or damaged 328 American aircraft and 19 ships of the U.S. Navy, including 8 battleships. This attack marked the beginning of the dominance of aircraft carriers in naval warfare,' the analyst recalled.
Although the comparison to Pearl Harbor may not be entirely accurate, the significance of these events in military affairs is hard to overstate. The world has now witnessed the capabilities of Ukrainian drones, which inflicted serious damage on the Russian air fleet, demonstrating how cheap and effective they can be for future warfare.
