Vietnam lifts restrictions on the number of children in a family.

The government of Vietnam has decided to abolish restrictions on the number of children in a family due to a demographic crisis that threatens the country's economy, reports Bloomberg portal.
“The authorities of Vietnam have canceled the long-standing policy that limited the number of children in a family as the country faces a declining birth rate, leading to a demographic crisis that could jeopardize future growth prospects,” the article states.
Now all families have the option to decide how many children they want to have. Previously, the limit was two children per family, except in cases where there were circumstances that required an exception. Members of the Communist Party of Vietnam who violate this rule risk losing bonuses or jobs.
Global demographic challenges
According to the UN, Ukraine's population could shrink to 32 million by 2050, which would threaten social security, healthcare, and pension systems. It is predicted that by 2070, the number of working citizens will be less than the number of pensioners, creating a challenging demographic situation in the country.
Vietnam, due to the demographic crisis, has lifted restrictions on the number of children in a family with the aim of increasing the birth rate. At the same Time, Ukraine faces a declining population, which could seriously impact social and economic processes in the future.
This news discusses the decision of the Vietnamese government to abolish restrictions on the number of children in families in connection with the demographic crisis.
