The authorities of Morocco want to eliminate 3 million stray dogs before the football World Cup, - media.

The Moroccan government plans to eliminate over three million stray dogs to clean the streets ahead of the 2030 football World Cup. According to the International Animal Protection Coalition, several thousand dogs have already been killed.
This decision outrages many people, as there are many humane ways to control the population of stray dogs. The UN and some international organizations are ready to assist Morocco in implementing such programs. Anthropologist Jane Goodall, who is a UN Peace Ambassador, has called for an end to this horrific campaign of cruelty.
Morocco has been selected as one of the host countries for the 2030 football World Cup. Matches of the tournament will take place at 20 stadiums, six of which are located in Morocco.
Ukrainian defenders eliminated former Russian national team player Alexey Bugayev, who was 43 years old. He played for teams 'Torpedo', 'Lokomotiv', 'Tom', and 'Krasnodar'. The athlete was sentenced to a strict-regime colony for 9.5 years for attempted drug trafficking.
