Drivers were shown prices for gasoline, diesel, and autogas at gas stations in Kyiv and Lviv: where to refuel cheaper.


Price difference for fuel in different regions of Ukraine
Prices for gasoline, diesel fuel, and automotive gas in the Kyiv and Lviv regions of Ukraine vary, reports the Minfin portal.
Many drivers traveling across Ukraine pay attention to the difference in fuel prices in different regions. Refueling where it is cheaper allows for savings, especially on long trips.
As of March 16, 2025, a noticeable difference in fuel prices is evident between the Kyiv and Lviv regions. Premium gasoline A-98 in the Kyiv region costs 52.00 UAH, which is 2.50 UAH more expensive than in the Lviv region, where the price is 49.50 UAH.
Interestingly, gasoline A-95+ turned out to be more expensive in the Lviv region compared to Kyiv - 60.24 UAH versus 59.74 UAH. Regular A-95 is sold at almost the same price: 56.47 UAH in Kyiv and 56.99 UAH in Lviv.
Gasoline A-92 is cheaper in Lviv - 53.39 UAH versus 54.49 UAH in Kyiv. However, the largest difference is observed in the prices for A-80: in the Kyiv region, it costs only 17.99 UAH, while in the Lviv region it is 30.25 UAH, which is 12.26 UAH more expensive.
The price for diesel fuel is the same in both regions - 54.99 UAH, but premium diesel in the Kyiv region is more expensive - 57.50 UAH versus 54.75 UAH in Lviv.
Automotive gas is also cheaper in the Kyiv region - 36.44 UAH versus 37.39 UAH in Lviv.
Given the price difference, drivers are advised to plan refuels in advance and choose optimal routes to save on fuel during trips between regions.
