Harvest in Odesa Region — Farmers Gathered the First Million of the Crop.


In the Odesa region, since the beginning of harvest (over nearly a month), one million tons of grain have already been gathered. This result was achieved on 353 thousand hectares of land.

Farmers of the Odesa region have already gathered the first million tons of grains and leguminous crops on an area of 353 thousand hectares. In the Podilskyi district, the yield was 39.3 quintals per hectare, while in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district - 36.9 quintals per hectare.
“Local farmers are putting in maximum effort to gather the harvest in a timely manner and with minimal losses, which creates a strong foundation for record indicators by the end of the season,” noted the Department of Agricultural Policy, Food and Land Relations of Odesa Regional State Administration in its report.
It is noted that these results have been achieved thanks to favorable weather conditions and the confident work of farmers.
