Energy workers restored the power line to ZNPP.

Ukrainian energy workers successfully restored the power transmission line that supplies power to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. This line was damaged due to shelling by Russia on October 1, creating a risk to the safety of the plant. This was reported by the company "Ukrenergo".
The company's repair crews successfully restored the damaged 330 kV overhead line, which is the main power supply source to the ZNPP. The repair work lasted more than a day, as the energy workers waited for permission from the occupying forces. Due to constant shelling, permission was obtained on October 2.
«Ukrenergo's repair crews successfully restored the damaged 330 kV overhead line that supplies power to the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The line is operational again after the Russian shelling», the statement said.
Currently, the ZNPP can receive electricity both through the main and backup transmission lines, which increases the reliability of the power supply and reduces the risk of emergency situations.
Let us remind you, the Zaporizhzhia NPP was on the verge of a blackout.
