Assistance from NRC - who and where financial support is available.


Residents of Chernihiv and Sumy regions have the opportunity to receive assistance from the charitable foundation 'Rokada' with financial support from the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine (NRC). The program aims to provide financial assistance for home repairs.
This was reported by the press service of the charitable foundation 'Rokada'.
What you need to know about the assistance project in Chernihiv and Sumy regions
The program is designed to support the affected population in the Chernihiv region and in frontline and de-occupied areas of the Sumy region. One of the directions is to provide funds for the repair of homes for residents of Sumy. Foundation specialists select participants, prepare documents, and payments are made by the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine.
The second direction of activity is to provide evacuation and psychosocial support in these regions, including organizing social transport, psychological support, and information campaigns. According to the project manager Olha Yurchenko, the project aims to restore human dignity and strengthen communities in frontline and liberated areas where needs remain extremely high.
It is expected that in the fall, 40 families will receive improved living conditions, and 40 thousand residents will learn about the possibility of evacuation.
It was previously reported that there is a possibility of receiving financial assistance of up to UAH 132.5 thousand for Ukrainians, as well as providing one-Time emergency financial assistance in Dnipro to vulnerable categories of the population.
A program of assistance from the charitable foundation 'Rokada' has been launched in Chernihiv and Sumy regions with the support of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine. This program provides financial assistance for the repair of residential houses for residents from affected areas. Evacuation and psychological support for residents of these regions is also provided, aimed at restoring dignity and strengthening communities. It is predicted that a number of families will receive improved housing, and some settlements will learn about the possibility of evacuation. Providing assistance in crisis areas is an important initiative for improving living conditions for residents and stabilizing the situation in eastern Ukraine.
