Ukrainians can receive assistance from the UN Agency - details
In July 2025, some citizens may receive monetary assistance from the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine. Applications for payments may be submitted by vulnerable categories of citizens in one of the communities in the Sumy region, which regularly suffers from shelling by the Russian Federation.
This is stated in a message from the organization's press service on Telegram.

What you need to know about the UN Agency's assistance program

Participants in the UN Refugee Agency's funding program can be residents of Krylovets. Assistance is intended for the following categories of people:

  • internally displaced persons who left their homes due to danger or returned home no more than six months ago;
  • citizens who returned from abroad to their homes after leaving at the beginning of the full-scale war.

An important requirement is the absence of similar assistance in the last three months. However, this requirement does not apply to:

  • single-parent families where one parent is raising children under 18 years old or caring for elderly individuals over 55;
  • households led by pensioners or raising underage children;
  • families with persons with disabilities or diagnosed severe illnesses.

Citizens must also have a difficult financial situation (income per person does not exceed 5,400 UAH).

The amount of assistance and how to register for the program

The amount of assistance has remained unchanged in recent years and is 10,800 UAH (the payment covers a three-month period, with each person in the household receiving 3,600 UAH per month).

To register for an appointment in Krylovets on July 10, 2025, you can call: 063 182 68 38. This number can also be used to later clarify your number in the queue.

Earlier, we reported that in two regions, citizens can receive assistance from the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine. In particular, funds will be provided for the repair of homes.

We also reported that financial assistance is again available to the residents of Mykolaiv. Applications for payments of 10,800 UAH are accepted by the charity fund 'Right to Protection'.

It has been reported that in July 2025, cash assistance from the UN Refugee Agency may be provided in Ukraine. Vulnerable residents of Krylovets can submit applications, following certain conditions. The amount of assistance is 10,800 UAH over a three-month period.
