Drivers are explained how to register confiscated cars from auctions.


The Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has published explanations regarding the registration of confiscated vehicles
The Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided detailed explanations about the registration procedure for vehicles that were confiscated and sold at auctions.
According to the provided information, to register such a vehicle, one of three main documents is required:
- Act on the electronic auction held or the resolution and act on the transfer of property to the creditor;
- Act on the acquisition of property at the auction for the sale of debtor’s property in bankruptcy cases;
- Purchase agreement or act on the sale of assets at electronic auctions of ARMA.
Individuals also need to provide additional documents, including a passport or ID card with a registration mark and a vehicle registration certificate or technical passport.
For legal entities, the registration procedure requires the submission of an extended package of documents, including copies of founding documents and a certificate of registration or de-registration of the vehicle from military records.
It is also noted that purchasing vehicles older than 15 years is not recommended.
